I want to find a college that will not only provide me the opportunity to grow as a soccer player, but help lay the foundation for my life after college. I have worked very hard since I was little to become a strong soccer player and that focus and determination I will bring to my future school. However, I do want to get a quality education in my field of study so that I am better prepared to start my career. Additionally, I hope that the hard work and dedication put into soccer will allow me to help that collegiate program take the next step.
For me chemistry is very important, not only chemistry between teammates but also the coach and their team. I am very blessed with the ability to work well with different types of people, both player and coach. I like to believe that I am good at building chemistry with those around me, and I can adapt to different coaching styles. Also, I have a strong work ethic and since I was younger, I've had to learn to balance practice, school, church, and family because of my goal to playing collegiate soccer. Although college is more difficult, I feel well prepared to take on the new challenge, but he core values I've established within myself.
After my Sophomore high school soccer season this year, I was voted Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year, Idaho Player of the Year, District Player of the Year, and won a few other awards all the while leading the entire state in goals scored, but fell a little short in leading in total assists. However, I would like to share with you the other side of me outside of soccer; which, is for me as equally important. I love to volunteer my time with my school and church. At Rocky Mountain High School, where I attend, I have been fortunate to be voted the Freshman and then the Sophomore Student Body President (SBP), additionally, I've held a leadership position with my young women's church group. I truly enjoy being involved. Being a leader is what makes me different. As a leader, I enjoy helping our student body and making sure that everyone feels involved and important. However, as a leader, I've had to be more responsible, organized and work harder,,, all characteristics that I know will help me be a better student athlete and leader on my future collegiate soccer team.
