Club Highlights
2022 HighlightsMy name is Emily Karr and I am starting my senior year as a dual student athlete that has an extreme passion for soccer. I play varsity soccer and varsity basketball. As a junior at Center Grove, I was an exceptional student that maintains a 3.8 grade point average. I am also a member of Best Buddies, and I volunteer at a local special needs weekend camp for adults called Handicapable Camp for the past 5 years. I made the varsity soccer team and was a starter all three years of high school. I play several positions on both my high school and travel team. I play forward, defense and winger. I have received All County and All Conference all 3 years. I was the second leading scorer my freshman and sophomore year and lead my junior year. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I won the 3v3 National Championships in Orlando two different years. I’ve been playing for FC Pride Elite soccer program since I was 8 years old. We have been back to back state champions, 4th place in Regional play, Ohio Valley ECNL champions 5 years in a row. My team was also final four in the ECNL Nationals. I find great joy in volunteering in my community and working with adults and children with special needs. I pride myself on being a role model on and off the field through hard work and dedication.
When I walk into a gym, I want to learn everything I can to make me a better player for my team. Being able to play all several positions on the soccer field if needed makes me a versatile player. All the positions are fun and challenging. I love to compete and be challenged. I put everything I have into all I do!
