Jayde Forster 202...Hello, my name is Jayde Forster. I am a goalkeeper for the Coastal Football Club BCSPL 2007 girls' team, located in the South Surrey/White Rock area of British Columbia. I have been invited to trials with the BC Provincial Team in May 2023 and November 2022, as well as being ranked #48 in the FTF Canada Top 60 2025 Grad List.
A significant aspect of my goalkeeping ability is my communication, as I am constantly organizing the field, specifically my back line. Along with this, I take pride in my shot-stopping ability; being able to deal with low, mid, and high-ranged shots from various angles. Additionally, I am an agile keeper with fast reaction time, which helps me win my 1v1s (any phase) and react to close-range shots. Finally, I am confident on the ball, and I utilize distribution from my hands (rolling and throwing) along with my feet (long-range and short-range passes) in order to play quickly out the back and push my team up the field.
Academically I consider myself to be a very strong student. I have a 4.0 GPA and have been a straight-A student my entire time in high school. I partake in the Model United Nations club at my school, where I have a leading role. While soccer has been a part of my life longer than school has, I always prioritize my education, and take my academics seriously. My school is relatively new, so do not have an Honour Role or AP classes developed yet, however, I am able to maintain my very high grades while juggling a high-level sports team and a school club as well.
It has always been a goal of mine to continue playing the game I love at the next level. I believe that my coachability, dedication, extroverted personality, and goalkeeping ability would not only make me a fit for your program as a player but also as a person.
