Hi! I'm Daniella, but most people call me Dani! I'm from a small town in western Kansas where I live with my mom and my two little sisters. I grew up playing soccer as my grandfather is an immigrant from Colombia and played his entire life. There are not a lot of opportunities for competitive play in my area so my mom and I travel once, sometimes twice, weekly to practices in Manhattan, KS a little over 2hrs away. We also travel to matches in Kansas City which is about 4hrs away on a weekly basis. I often do my schoolwork in the car on the way home and get up for school the next morning. I say all of that to say, I am committed to improving, I am committed to working hard. I've been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and I still get that feeling in my gut when I walk onto the field. It's a feeling of excitement and adrenaline. I see soccer as a great avenue to assist me with achieving my educational goals. I believe with the passion I have for the game, the talent God gave me and the hard work I put in, I can accomplish my goals which are to play at the collegiate level.
