Shealbie Whatley '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Shealbie Whatley, and I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old.  I started playing competitively at age 9 and the varsity level since 8th grade.  I currently play at the high school and club levels.  I am a senior at Grace Christian School in Alexandria, LA.  My current position is a mid-fielder, although I also play forward.  I'm a very hard-working, dedicated, goal-oriented, and tenacious player.

Although soccer is my passion, I have also been competing on the varsity track team in both track and field events and as a varsity member of the cross-country team.

I committed to Louisiana State University at Alexandria for my freshman seasonin fall of 2023, where my team won its conference tournament, and I was awarded with All-Conference Freshman Team. I currently remain playing for LSUA as a center defensive midfielder and center back.
