Personal Statement

My desire is to attend a 4 year college on a full athletic/soccer scholarship, hopefully a Division 1 college that wins more than it loses.  I'd like to stay within 7-8 hours of Baton Rouge, La. I work harder and train more than any girl I play or practice with because Louisiana doesn't have ECNL or DA teams).  I like to create goals and then reach them. I am focused on God, School, Family and Soccer.  I'm different than most girls because I believe I am a fantastic decision maker with the ball and I have worked hard to get where i am.   I love playing Center Midfielder and having the ball at my feet as much as possible. I also think I'm going to be pretty tall and strong by the time I get to college because my dad and my siblings are very tall and I've already started a strength and conditioning program that I stick to even during the soccer seasons.  I make the players around me better when I have possession of the ball and really love setting up my forwards almost as much as scoring goals myself.  I play striker in high school because our team doesn't have any goal scorers but i play CAM and CM and some wing for my club team and ODP teams.  I've focused on playing up 2-3 years in age and training with boys my age or older for a while now to try to simulate the speed of the ECNL and DA teams.  I want to prove to the doubters i can play in the NWSL.  I really appreciate any coaches that have taken the time to read my profile.

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
