Julia Gaude '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Julia Gaude and I am going into my senior year and my 6th  year of soccer. I started playing in 7th grade and joined my school's first varsity soccer program in 8th grade. Many girls on my team never played soccer before, so our first 3 seasons as a varsity team was a bit of a bumpy road. My Sophomore year (2019-2020) I completely fell in love with soccer and I didn't want to be an average player on the field. My position was stopper, I became one of the captains, and I earned All-District Honorable Mention. My Junior year (2020-2021) I worked even harder to be a better player and captain. My team made our first ever playoff appearance in Livonia Soccer program history! It was definitely worth the tough times I went through with my team previously. I was unanimously selected as 1st Team All-District and All-Metro Honorable Mention. 

 My collegiate goals and aspirations would be to win our conference and to continuously push myself and my teammates. I love to see how hard work always pay offs, therefore I always try my best to push myself and hold myself accountable for my performance. I am always willing to improve and learn from my own mistakes. Outside of team practices, I often like to practice on my own to improve and refine skills our coach teaches us. I love to be vocal, helpful, and show leadership on the field. Being captain has taught me to not only be a great leader on the field, but also off the field. I have a perfect discipline record and my Junior year GPA was a 4.1. I hope to be a great candidate for your team because I am willing to do whatever it takes to be the best soccer player I can be.
