Hi, I'm Kenzie Vickers. I attend Sulphur High School in Sulphur Louisiana and prioritize my academics and pursue athletic success and achievement. I have maintained above a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and have been on both the school team and other tournament teams. At my school, I am also involved with the Beta Club, Student Council, and the Key Club. My work ethic and determination both play key roles in my personality and help me succeed in all areas of my life.
I started playing soccer when I was three years old on rec teams and absolutely fell in love with the sport, and have been playing nonstop since. Once I got to middle school I joined tournament teams in a pursuit to improve my game and have been playing tournament soccer since. I worked hard and improved greatly with my tournament team and my high school team my freshman year. That summer I spent hours practicing daily and created this account. Then tournament soccer started up again, but the first practice I tore my ACL; that was the beginning of my sophomore year. I was unable to play my entire sophomore year and came back at the start of my junior year, this year. I was able to play one game until I realized something was still wrong and I had to have another surgery.
Throughout both injuries I never let them deter my love for the game and have continuously tried to get better as fast as I can. I should be cleared to play soon and cannot wait to get back on the field for my senior year and hopefully longer in college. I currently have no film, since I have been out my two main high school years. I am trying to get some as fast as I can, so I can demonstrate my playing skills. Aside from my injuries I have remained an active member of my team and have loved every second of being part of it. I love being on a team as much as I love the game of soccer. I hope to continue being an active member of a team throughout college.
