2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Everything started almost 10 years ago. I had just moved to Maine from a small town in Quebec, Canada. I had been competing in gymnastics since I was in six years old. I would not be the athlete I am today if it weren't for these 10 years of gymnastics. By doing gymnastics I learned to work on myself physically and mentally. I would spend hours perfecting every move until they were perfect enough for me.
When I moved to Maine, there weren't any gyms to do any gymnastics near me so instead I started playing soccer in middle school. I didn't start training to be a goalkeeper until my freshman year of high school. I started to really love soccer and I wanted to get better at it. At first I wasn't the best and it was hard mentally because I didn't think I was doing the best I could.
The summer before my junior year, I spent the whole summer training as much as I could so that I could show my coach that I was putting the time and effort to be the best I could be. That summer I gave myself goals and I wanted to perfect them. All those years of gymnastics taught that all my weaknesses could be worked on. The love I have for soccer grew with me along with all the training and time I put in. All i want to do is pursue my goalkeeper journey in college.

- This clinic will allow prospective student athletes the opportunity to showcase their abilities and talents in a competitive environment led by the AIC Women's Soccer coaching staff. All players in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend, as well as junior college and transfer students. This is an awesome opportunity to not only showcase your talents to the coaching staff but learn more about what AIC has to offer. The clinic will be capped at 36 players.
