Ava Zoschke '18 Recruiting Profile

Playing Varsity soccer as a freshman was both a huge milestone and launchpad. I was challenged physically and mentally everyday to improve in order to compete. In the beginning of the year, I played about half of the game. During the course of the season I began to start games and eventually played in the majority of the section final. I was forced to adapt and improve quickly to a stronger and smarter style of soccer.  This experience taught me how far extra dedication can carry me, and helped enhance my ability to adapt to a new level and style of play, which I believe would be applicable to college soccer.

Throughout my recent years of soccer, I have been fortunate enough to play with some of the best players in the area. Through proving myself in relentless hard work, I have risen to leadership positions in both my club and high school programs as I was named captain in each. I am very strong academically, and I always push myself to take Honors/AP level classes. I believe my skill gained through persistent effort along with my mental strength, character, and leadership would allow for me to make an immediate impact on your college team.
