Reece Cornine '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach! 

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. Although I play other sports, I have always known that soccer is my passion and what I want to do in college. I am working hard to find a place where I can continue playing after I finish high school. 

I am a defender. I work on my skills every chance I get and typically play the outside. However, I also have strong ball handling skills and I am not afraid of contact. I work hard to mark up, defend, and make the next pass to my teammates' feet. I also have experience as a midfielder and love to distribute the ball.

I am an optimist by nature and always support my teammates. I love being part of a team! I am very coachable and I strive to be one of the hardest working players you’ll find. 

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am involved in student government, basketball, soccer, and honor society.  Additionally, I have a part-time job and I am interested in health care. 

My goals involve attending a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the soccer pitch. I am interested in a college where I can major in health sciences and receive excellent preparation for medical school or work toward a nursing degree. I also want to contribute to a soccer program winning games and championships. I am extremely loyal and hope that whatever college I play for and graduate from, I will be able to be involved in the soccer program as an alumni.
