Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Claire Stam. I am currently a sophomore at Eureka High School in the St. Louis metro area. I have been playing soccer since pre-school and love the sport. The club team I have played on since second grade has provided opportunities for great competition and experience, most recently playing in the top division in the USYS Midwest Region Conference and finishing as a semi-finalist in Missouri State Cup play. I feel that I am a well-rounded, versatile player with the ability to play multiple positions. On the academic side, I enjoy learning and have done well in school as demonstrated by my transcripts. I like being involved in activities at school and feel that my strong work ethic helps drive me to get better in both athletics and academics. I enjoy the competition, teamwork and friendships that soccer has created and I look forward to continuing that experience in high school and college.
