Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Sophie Brous, I am a 2023 graduate student from The Barstow School, in Kansas City, MO.

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old at a club level. I train with Sporting Blue Valley and play for the Girls Academy team.

My goal is to go to an academically challenging school with a great athletic program. I carry a 4.18 GPA and challenge myself with honors classes.

I play the defensive mid position (6) along with outside back (2) or (3). But, I am always open to playing any position needed to help my team. I am a very disciplined, competitive, driven, and coachable player. I also cherish my relationships/chemistry with my team and I look forward to creating that same bond in college.
