Personal Statement
I started playing soccer way back in kindergarten, when I was around five years old. My parents put me into every possible sport that our elementary school offered. I participated in soccer, basketball, and t-ball. At the end of my kindergarten year my parents asked me which sport I love the most, for me it was obvious, soccer. I have now grown up playing this team oriented sport and it has transformed me into a well rounded student-athlete. I have participated in community service throughout our local towns. I coached six to eight year olds for a week at a local soccer camp, I reffed multiple rec league games, and helped time at our local special olympics.
I aspire to continue to grow not only in soccer, but in the classroom as well. I have built a strong work-ethic and time management skills throughout my High School career. I have focused on a strict schedule that allows me to play soccer and have plenty of time to complete all of my studies. Not only do I believe that I have the talent to play at the collegiate level but the character, passion, and determination to make for a great work environment on and off the field.
