Personal Statement
I am looking forward to the opportunity of being a student-athlete at a college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I think that my hard work on and off the field shows in my level of play and academic achievement, which is why I would love to continue to push myself to play at a competitive college level. I understand both the balance and connection between academics and soccer and feel that they both reflect my work ethic, determination, and desire to be successful. I strive to do my best whether it’s at school or soccer and always encourage my teammates and peers to do their best as well. I believe one of my best attributes is my versatility on the field with the ability to be the starting 10 for my Club team rotating through the 4/5, 6 and 8 as needed as well as the starting Center Back for my ODP team the past 5 seasons. I have loved playing soccer since I was a little kid and it has been a huge part of my life, I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
