Soccer has been my passion since I began playing many years ago and my dream has always been to play soccer at the college level. I will be an outstanding fit for your team because I am a leader, an even better teammate, and a good listener. I define soccer as dedication, consistency, willpower, organization, leadership, and perseverance. I pride myself on being able to take constructive criticism as a chance to improve myself at the game.
I am currently a junior from Bordentown, NJ. Since freshman year, I have been a varsity starter. In freshman, sophomore, and junior year, I've been awarded 1st team all-county player. In addition to those achievements, I was awarded for all-state player my sophomore and junior year and also voted top sophomore in NJ. I have been my club team’s captain for 7 years and was given the captain band my junior year of high school for the varsity team.
I am not only a soccer player though. In school I excel in all of my classes and strive for A's. I am apart of the National Honors Society in my high school and I've never had a prouder achievement. Aside from soccer, I wrestle as well. My junior year, I placed third in the state and 2nd in my region. I know what it is like to be a true athlete and playing college soccer will allow me to achieve my dreams of being a part of an amazing community.
I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember! Coming from a family of soccer players, I always felt a connection to the game. From working on touches and perfecting passes with my dad in the backyard, to high school and club practices, I have learned to love the game more and more each day. I am a hard-working, loyal, dedicated player in every aspect of my life. I continue to learn from wins AND losses.
I am diligent not only on the field, but in school as well. I strive to maintain my 4.0 GPA and schoolwork is my main concentration. Although sometimes challenging, I have perfected my time management skills while juggling school, soccer, and a social life. I have learned that in order to play, one must work hard first. My schoolwork and staying organized has always been my priority. I was selected to be a member of The National Honor Society this year and I am very proud of this accomplishment!
The game has taught me a lot about life and I am forever grateful to my coaches and my teammates for teaching me to always strive for greatness. Playing at the collegiate level is a goal I will continue to work hard for and will ultimately reach for in my near future.
I look forward to finding my newest home within your organization!
