Hello, my name is Caitlyn Cordery, from Swedesboro, New Jersey. I go to Gloucester Catholic High School and will graduate in 2020. I have been an active member of the girls’ soccer and basketball teams since freshman year, which has been an awesome experience. I try to lead my teams in encouragement, loyalty, and compassion, just like a good teammate would. I have tried my best to push myself and my teammates to perform to the best of our abilities, while still enjoying playing the game. Academically, I have always made sure that I am meeting or exceeding the goals I set in the beginning of that school year. I have pushed myself to take classes that challenge me and deepen my knowledge. I take pride in my ability to manage my time between academics and extra-curricular activities and am very proud that I have achieved earning first or second honors for academics throughout my high school career and All-Conference Second team (Freshman and Sophomore) and First team this year in soccer.
I would like to think of myself as a good, all-around person. I am a hard worker, very loyal, compassionate, caring, and I am always looking to give a helping hand. My involvement in my church, school, sports and community have provided me many opportunities to grow as an individual and more importantly help people. I enjoy seeing the smile on people’s faces when I help them. For this reason, I want to pursue studies in college where I can help people and hopefully make a positive difference.
