Hello Coaches, my name is Abby O’Shea and I am a senior at Manasquan High School in Manasquan, New Jersey. I feel that I am a motivated student athlete who feels the need to excel both on and off the field. I have been playing soccer since I was little, and overtime I have learned to be a dedicated and hardworking player, allowing me to succeed in all categories. I have a lot to offer to a college program and knowing that I could play in college makes me love the game even more. I am a very versatile player and although my strongest position is outside back, I have played almost everywhere on the field. I am very physically fit and make runs up and down the field all throughout the game, while still being able to recover back if the ball is turned over. Winning two state championships and a regional championship has provided me with the exposure of what it’s like to play at the next level. The competitiveness and the requirement of what it takes to be successful are all things I have learned to love over time.I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but also the work-ethic, character, and leadership skills to make an impact on your team.
