I started playing soccer at age 8 and I was so passionate about the sport that I immediately joined the U9 travel soccer team at SDFC. Two seasons ago, while I was playing at SDFC, my team placed 2nd in the Nationals. That was the beginning of my intense soccer journey. Looking back, I believe that it was one of the hardest challenges for me. Nationals took place in Texas, and it was over 105 Degrees each game. In addition, we were playing on turf. The very first game we played, we lost at-least 6-0. My team had given up and lost terribly, but I stood out, as I was still fighting for every battle.
Throughout the tournament, players were chosen to be in the "Top Eleven". I was picked as one of the "Top Eleven" out of all the U14 girls.
I have gained so much more knowledge about myself since that tournament. I learned new skills for future nerve-wracking events. Last season, playing for the DA New York City FC U15, we placed 1st in our region and 8th in the country in the DA.
I have experienced many important games and moments and I have learned when I feel challenged to control my play and breathe. I stay focused on my job and try to lift my teammates up too. I pride myself on being a diligent and hard worker on and off the field. I am looking for a school that challenges me academically and athletically. I am a straight-A student and I am a two-time National Junior Honor Society member.
In addition, during my Sophomore year of high school season (2020 - Montclair Kimberley AcademyGirls Soccer) I scored 26 goals and 14 assists in 11 games. In addition, I was awarded first-team All-Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division honors(non-public), first-team All-Conference. Finally, in my 2020 season, I was the 4th highest goal scorer in all of New Jersey.
