Having played soccer since the age of three and spent seven years with the South Jersey Elite Barons, a solid foundation in the sport has been built for me. This experience, combined with four years on the GA Girls Academy, has helped me to gain valuable skills, needed for success in college athletics. Competing at a high level has taught me the importance of discipline and resilience. For instance, being a right winger and striker has helped me develop speed and agility, making it possible to assist the team in scoring goals while also enhancing my personal performance
My journey has seen many blessings/achievements as well, such as being selected for the United States Soccer Federation National ID camp twice. This recognition reflects not only my talent and grit but also a commitment to continuous improvement. It tells me that the scout saw something in me whether that be my attitude or play that showed them I am someone who is a positive player and they want to see more of. Participating in the Youth World Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden, for NJ14 in 2024 was an incredible experience, offering a chance to compete on a global stage. The friendships I made and the things I learned overseas are unforgettable. These experiences shaped my mindset and inspired me and my teammates to strive for excellence.
In addition to athletic talent, who I am as a person plays a crucial role in being a good team member. Kindness, humility, and natural leadership qualities are often said by others that I possess. Encouraging my teammates and leading by example builds a positive team culture and that’s what I try to do everyday. I have a strong ability to stay calm and not get too emotional. Being the younger sister of an accomplished soccer player has taught the importance of patience and respect for others, reinforcing the belief that every player has their unique path to success.
The goal of becoming a Division 1 athlete is not just about personal dream; it is also about creating lifelong connections and fostering growth. The ambition to play soccer at the college level is driven by a love for the sport and a desire to contribute positively to a team. With a strong foundation built through years of training and a discipline, becoming a part of a college soccer program would be an incredible opportunity to continue this journey.
