Anna Memija '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anna Memija and I go to Saddle Brook High School (Saddle Brook, NJ). I play for the Albanian Women's National Team and Nutley Elite Soccer Academy. I also play varsity soccer for SBHS. I have played varisty soccer since sophmore year of when I joined high school soccer. I was named rookie of the year as a sophmore and had scored the 2nd most goals and 2nd most assists on the team. We became league champions and NJIC Tournament of my sophmore year. We had also made it to the 3rd round of states making history for our town. As for my Natioanl Team, we won the UEFA U-16  Tournamnt against some of the strongest country's in Europe. I had assisted the most assists in my team during the UEFA tournmant. I also had been invited to play with the main national team of Albania to where I made my first cap against Cyprus! During my senior year I got name as an all state athlete and first team all league.

I am a very good student and take my education seriously. I want to major in nursing. While I am a good student, I also enjoy volunteering at community services. In my town I  volunteer as an EMT and volunteer at a local church. I also enjoy giving back to the soccer community. I volunteer at Angels, which is a program where my temmates and I coach kids that have special needs. I have enjoyed coaching the kids and seeing how much of an impact I have made in their lives. I am very passionate about soccer and want to contiune playing soccer at the highest level as it has been a dream of mine.
