Molly Martys '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello - 

My name is Molly Martys.  I live in Springfield, NJ, and enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, and being on the soccer field with teammates.  Being part of a team has taught me a lot about leadership, hard work, and communication, both on and off the field. My goal is to win every 50/50 ball that comes my way and play soccer in college. 

I play for The Football Academy 2006 Girls Black, as the starting  Center Midfielder.  I also play for Jonathan Dayton High School's Varsity Soccer team, where I have been the starting Center Midfielder since my Freshman year.  Although I led my HS team in assists and had the 2nd most goals last season, the thing that gave me the most pride was hanging a banner for my school and our community. Our team won Jonathan Dayton High School's first ever division title. Personally I was selected as First Team All Valley division, but giving our exiting seniors a banner really made me proud. 

I also play High School basketball, where I have been the starting guard since my Freshman year. In my first 2 seasons, I have been part of a team that has won 2 division titles. I was selected as Honorable Mention All Valley division after freshman year, and recently selected as 1st Team All Valley after my sophomore year.  I was also honored by my coach, as he named me a captain for the 2023 season. 

I currently have a weighted GPA of 4.122. I am proud to say I have made honor every quarter so far in High School and currently in honors classes for English, US History, Algebra, and Chemistry.
