Moira Vining '26 Recruiting Profile

My obsession with soccer started at a very young age.  I fell in love with this amazing sport at the age of 5, and ever since then I have been committed to soccer.  Over the years I have sacrificed vacations, holiday weekends with friends and family, countless sleepovers, in the effort to be committed and ready for every practice and game day.  
I had the privilege to be coached by an incredible leader, Kevin Meder at the club level.  Coach Meder had won 5 state titles as a Girls High School coach in NJ and I truly appreciate the impact he has made on me as a player and as a young women
I would call myself a “Soccer head”.  When I’m not playing the game, I’m watching professional games, when I’m not at practice I am on the ball doing drills, skills, or homework.  I absolutely love playing striker but excel on the wing as well.  

My ultimate goal is to play DI college soccer in the future.  I believe that my dedication to my academic career and athletics will provide a tremendous opportunity at the colligate level.  I believe that I can help provide selective universities a very well rounded player to help improve their program.

What I believe makes me a unique individual is my coach-ability, high soccer IQ, discipline and heart! I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to give 100%. I pride myself on being very coachable. I strive to be just a little better every day.  I’m committed to being one of the hardest working players on the pitch.  I also participate in High School Swimming and track to help my endurance and athleticism.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am an Honor Roll Scholar. I also volunteer at my local church and Special Needs Soccer Programs.

I hope to become a great role model to my younger sisters and peers, in my community and make my parents extremely proud.
