Zach Borton '21 Recruiting Profile

I desire to wrestle at the college level and strive to push myself to be the best wrestler I can be. My biggest aspiration and dream is to wrestle and place in the NCAA's. I also aspire to be a team leader and motivate all of my teammates in the room. I believe that I am a great candidate for any team because I learned very quickly that wrestling is my passion. Dedication has a lot of meanings, but for me it means pushing myself and my teammates to always do their best and to never give up. I bring a positive, but also serious energy to the room. I have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed to the best of my ability at the college level.  My wrestling  career started when I was five years old. I know it takes a good work ethic and drive to succeed in this sport. I originally was going to go another path post high school, but my passion for wrestling made me realize I was not ready to end my wrestling career. This decision has given me a bigger desire and drive to succeed both academically and on the mat. This leads me to believe my determination and focus to succeed is stronger than others. This is truly what I want to do and will do whatever it takes. I know there is no limit.
