I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember, and this sport has always been an escape for me. I knew that when I went to play, I could forget about everything else and just focus on the beautiful game that is soccer. When I was younger I followed the USWNT religiously and watching them win the 2015 world cup was so exciting. I knew that I wanted to play soccer as long as I could. I am on track to be a four-year varsity starter and a captain for my high school team for the 2021 fall season. As a sophomore and junior, I earned first-team all division in the SEC Liberty division. I also won a player's choice award and a future leader award.
College is something that is very important to me and I want to ensure that I go somewhere that I will grow as a student-athlete. Academics are very important to me. In the classroom, I frequently participate and work hard to maintain a high GPA.
In my spare time, my hobbies are running and reading. I frequently babysit and volunteer with organizations such as Girls on the Run.
I am very excited to hopefully play soccer in college not only for the sport but the sense of responsibility and the community that comes with it. I am a very coachable player and one who strives to improve. I take criticism and feedback and use that to get better. I like to lead by example and never slack off. Something unique about me as a player is that I am dominantly left-footed, but I am very comfortable with my right foot as well.
