Bridget O'Donnell '21 Recruiting Profile

Track has been a significant part of my life since my freshman year. Not only has the sport given me the opportunity to make many long-lasting relationships, it has also given me an outlet for whenever I am feeling stressed. I think the beauty of running is its simplicity: all you need is a pair of sneakers. In order to take my running to the next level, it is important for me to find a college that challenges me both athletically and academically. Beginning with a 13:07 3200m my freshman year, I have lowered my time to below 12 minutes and have improved significantly. Something I take great pride in is my success on the track, but also in the classroom. I am an AP/honors student and have always ranked in the top 10% of my class. I take my academics very seriously, and I want to major in public health when I advance to college. I'm ready for this next step in my life, and I am excited to see where my sneakers go next!
