Kayla Lynn '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches!! Soccer has been apart of my life since I was little! My love and skills have increased throughout my many years of playing soccer, as I plan on playing soccer in college I hope that these continue to grow! As I am now entering my senior year I have had a long line of abilities I have trained to make better, my confidence, footwork and shooting placement has taken a large leap. With whatever college I attend I hope to continue to excel as a player and teammate and train my hardest, putting me at the best I can be! Being apart of my varsity soccer team since I was in eighth grade has taught me many things. Such as, how to work with players who may be at a higher skill level, get along with each teammate, and how to be a standout while still knowing my role on the team.  Either taking the ball down the field, crossing, shooting, or passing the ball off I strive to make it as good as it can be. Looking for the best chances of scoring or smartest way of getting the ball where it needs to go is something I have learned to do proficiently. With another pair great eyes and decision making on the field I believe will be helpful! As I have had a good amount of time on my schools team coaches have come and go. Warming up  toand working with a new coach can be difficult but I have learned to be respectful and coachable while still speaking up when I see something someone else may not have. Academics are something I take seriously, as I am ranked 5th in my class and hold a 95.47 gpa. I work hard in the classroom and try to go above and beyond what is expected. I plan to do the same for which ever team I will soon play for! Thank you for your time and consideration!!
