My name is Denim Whitted and I am 5”7 160 lbs. Athletic Goalkeeper. My freshman year I started on the boys varsity soccer team and helped the boys go 9-7-1 the 2018-2019 season. My sophomore year I was out the whole season because of a meniscus tear in my knee but this injury didn't stop me from working on my craft and getting stronger and faster. My Junior year was my comeback year, I averaged 30 saves per game, became player of the year and made first team. The 2021-2022 season we went 6-7-1 despite having a losing season the year prior. I was able to help my team out by helping the defense move and being able to help get the ball down the pitch to help score. I have been a soccer goalkeeper for 14 years. From ages 5-14 I played for our Bedford recreation soccer league. I’ve also volunteered as a student assistant for the Bedford recreation spring youth soccer team in 2021. My junior and senior year of high school I played for the OPFC soccer club. While playing for the club I have experience in Futsal goalkeeping as well. January 17,2022, I attended my first HBCU_idcamps in Atlanta Ga. It was awesome. I was even interviewed by 2Centsfc Media which can be viewed on their website. To stay in shape year round I play Varsity Basketball for Bedford High school I am currently nominated as a LEL player of the week. I’m also a member of Bedford High School's track team as a discus, and shot put thrower. I made history this school year as Bedford High School's first female field goal kicker. But through it all my heart is goalkeeping for soccer.
