Personal Statement

I have been playing soccer since I was six years old. Ever since I first stepped onto the field, I fell in love with the game. Since then, my dream to play college soccer has grown throughout the years and I realize the effort, determination, and pure willpower that is needed to succeed. I plan to give my all, all the time to reach this lofty goal.

I have speed, strength, and great shooting and passing skills. Along with that, I am a quiet team leader and try to set an example for the rest of my teammates through my hard-work on the field.  I am desire coachable and I desire criticism to make me a stronger student athlete. Effort and toughness is what I am known for, and I believe in giving 100% all the time. This includes in the classroom, on the field, and as a recruit.

In the classroom, I work very hard and withhold a 2.6 GPA currently, but always working to raise it. I have been on an IEP my entire life which has caused some issues with my academic learning ability, but has also made me more determined than ever to succeed in school, soccer and life. I am also actively involved in church, work 15-20 hours per week and love to spend time with my family and friends in my limited free time. My goal is to attend a college where I can challenge myself in both in academics and athletics. I am open to ALL options and want to ultimately find the college that is best fit for me, academically and athletically. I desire to play at the highest level possible, positively impacting myself and the college I choose. Above all else, I aspire to become a successful student, athlete, and role model to all around me, making my Savior and parents proud.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
