I am interested in anthropology and psychology. While, I haven't decided on a major just yet, but I am interested in schools with a good support system in academics and athletics, someplace that will be a good starting point as I take steps toward adulthood.
I have played soccer for six years, and have been the starting goalkeeper on my high school team since my freshman year. I am a positive teammate, and have put extra effort into the development of my skills by attending various camps and taking private lessons. Last year I joined the varsity coed cheer team, we won a National Championship at a competition held in Tulsa. I made the squad again this year, and am looking forward to perhaps another National Championship.
I have been in the Honor Choir at school since my sophomore year. I have earned superior's on my solo's at competitions, as well as superiors with my ensemble group.
I have been the Princess for my school's Native American's Club for the past 3 years. As the princess, I go to pow wow's and other functions representing my school and my Tribe. This year I was fortunate enough to attend the National Johnson O' Malley conference in Washington D.C. Where I met legislator's and other supporters of the Johnson O' Malley program. I was asked to sing at the conference, which was a real honor.
School started as a challenge for me. In elementary school, I started as full time special ed student, but have worked hard, and now I am in all mainstream classes with very few modifications. I have completed all my core classes needed for graduation and my senior year is filled with Economics, world history and nutrition class in addition to my electives. I have worked hard, both in the classroom, and practice field, to be successful. My GPA up to the end of my sophomore year is 3.5
This year, my coach recognized me as an outstanding leader both on and off the field. I made All District for Class 5A schools in Central Oklahoma. As well as being name for the All Vype Girls High School soccer team
