Growing up playing sports in a Christian school has really helped me show a positive spirit on and off the field. I make sure to motivate my teammates during their faults and praise them during their achievements. I am a very faithful athlete to the team and I show up to every practice possible. I love learning new things and hearing feedback on things I need to work on. My favorite thing about soccer is that I can use my speed to better help the team. I love running and soccer has allowed me to not get bored of running. In my first year ever playing soccer in seventh grade, I was given the nickname "firecracker" because no matter what I did, I put my all into it. In eighth grade, I was given the nickname "bull dozen" because even though I was only 80Ibs and less than five feet tall, I knew how to stay strong and keep my ground. While playing sports, I have never allowed my grades to drop. Both soccer and academics are commitments I have made to the teacher and to the team and I will not let either of them down. I would love to play soccer in college and I feel I am a good candidate.
