Soccer has been such a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I started soccer I have been so passionate and determined. I haven't missed a single season of soccer since I started playing at age 4. I have played other sports - tennis and volleyball, but did not have the passion for those sports like I do for soccer. For the past 2 years, I have been double rostered on two club teams. Every weekend was devoted to playing soccer. I also played for my high school team. I love competing. I love being part of team. I love helping my team win.
I would love to be a part of a college team, where I can make a difference and help the team win, all while getting a college degree. I feel like I am a leader on the field and my teammates look to me for leadership. I feel like I encourage teamwork and cooperation. I am versatile and have played and can play many positions. My coaches have always talked strategy with me. One coach told me he felt like he could tell me something on the sideline to do or fix and he knew I comprehended what he was saying and would execute on the field. These attributes along with my soccer skills would make me a great addition to a collegiate program.
