Sophia Ziesemer '23 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer at the age of 4. My dad first introduced it to me which just sparked the joy and love I get when the ball is at my feet. Growing up I watched a lot of soccer, especially the Brazil National team, which is where my parents and brother are from, and Barcelona. On the field, I have quick touches on the ball, and am smart with the ball. The strengths I possess are my positive attitude, high soccer IQ, and communication on the field. Even though I spend a lot of my time playing soccer with my club and high school, I still maintain a high GPA and class rank. I currently am taking all AP classes and competing in UIL academics. My commitment and competitiveness in this sport are what drive me to continue doing what I love at a collegiate level where I can make a difference.
