Even though I started playing soccer at an older age, it has always been a part of my life. Growing up my house was always an environment of soccer and I was always surrounded by my dad's cheers on Barcelona FC and the Honduran national team. When I have a ball at my feet, I feel most alive. I want to continue playing this sport that has gifted me so much from friends to unforgettable memories, but most importantly to make my dad proud. He was my first soccer coach and the one always cheering on me from the stands. I know it would make him extremely proud to see me play at the college level. I have what it takes to compete at the college level because I know the definition of student-athlete. My high school is an all-gifted and talented school that consistently ranks in the top 50 in the country and number 1 in Houston, TX. The schoolwork is very rigorous, but I know it is preparing me to be the best. I know how to balance school and work very well since I also do cross country, track, and volleyball besides soccer.
