When I was 13 years old, I was asked what sport I want to play. My immediate response was volleyball because I loved watching the continuous rallies and the amount of strength and passion needed to play. As soon as I started playing volleyball, I fell in love with the sport. Volleyball isn't just a sport for me, it is my passion.
Being appointed the role of a captain as a freshman made me proud of my hardworking and dedication. In my honest opinion, volleyball makes me a more well rounded person. Without volleyball I would not be the person I am today. Volleyball is a sport that requires continuous effort and perseverance.
My mother has been my biggest supporter and role model. She hasn't missed a single high school game or club tournament. My mother enjoys watching me plays and the feeling of approval from her makes me want to work so much harder to continue to impress her.
I am looking for a college that will allow me to continue playing the sport that I love as well as continue my academics. Taking into consideration all of my different skills, I believe I am capable of playing volleyball at the collegiate level!
