I would be a good addition to your college team because I am a driven and passionate leader. I am a student-athlete at heart, and I understand academics come first. As a student/future career, I would love to study Forensics and become a forensic psychologist or anthropologist. I have wanted to study this since I was in sixth grade, and it has never changed. I would love to also get an undergrad in American Sign Language as well. In my sophomore year, I took AP Psychology, and I loved it. I also took ASL in eighth grade, and I have never forgotten it. Now when I see people signing, I walk up to them and have a conversation with them. To me, it is one of the best feelings to do this because you know you made their day, and the face they make when you sign to them makes you feel amazing.
Now moving onto soccer. Soccer is my passion. I have played since I was four years old, and I have always loved the game. The game has taught me so many life lessons and really has shaped me as a person. One of the best lessons the game has taught me is how to work as a team, which will help me with my career and in life. I play soccer because it is my love and because it is a way I can make a difference in the world. I have always wanted to play college soccer and then go on a professional soccer career. With my drive and determination, I know I will do good for the sport, and I want to give back to the community and help girls develop the drive and motivation just like how Carli Lloyd, Lindsey Horan, or Rose Lavelle did for me.
After my soccer career, I would love to coach a youth team of deaf kids and show them the game. I want to allow them to love the game, just like how everyone with hearing does.
