Lindsey Fisher '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm writing to introduce myself to your school and your soccer program. My name is Lindsey Fisher and I'm going into my sophomore year at Bishop Ireton Catholic School in Alexandria, VA.  My GPA is 3.9 while taking all honors courses.  I serve my community through various Catholic community ministry programs such as Habitat for Humanity and Campus Ministry for my school.  I also enjoy volunteering my time with young soccer players by serving as a counselor for my school's summer sports camps.  My intellectual interests include healthcare and scientific computing to enable better use of data to improve the healthcare arena.  I've had an internship each summer since 8th grade to work towards learning more about scientific computing.  I plan to major in computer science, health informatics, or information technology.

I've been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and I love to play.  I currently play for McLean Youth Soccer travel team as an outside midfielder.  I am a very versatile player and can play most positions on the field.  I have good speed, agility, soccer IQ, and my foot skills are strong.  On my Washington Spirit Super Y team this past summer, I played outside back, outside midfield, and left and right forward. I was on the Virginia State ODP team and travelled with the team to many tournaments and game weekends.  On my high school team at Bishop Ireton coached by Gino Leon, I was a varsity starter my freshman year, played every game, and helped the team make it to the championship game.  I lead my club and high school teams with assists and I serve as a leader for the team by being encouraging and being a good example on and off the field.  I've included a quick highlight video from last season that can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32JV8CaPPdw.  I’m in the process of creating another video now with my highlights from Super Y and Fall High and Club seasons.

My intentions are to play soccer in college and nothing would please me more than to have a chance to show my skills to you.  Are there any opportunities where I might attend camps or recruiting events so I can showcase my skills to you or get to know your program better?  Please send me any information regarding ways that I can cross paths with you or your scouts. I will also send you my regular game schedule and tournament schedule.
