I am a honors student and dedicated athlete. I would like to study engineering or medicine and play soccer at a competitive University. My favorite position is forward/winger but I'm versatile and have played attacking mid and outside back. During my sophomore soccer season, I scored 8 goals with 1 assist while splitting time on defense. Our team went 15-2 and won the Dominion District Championship and I scored the game winner with a minute left in the VHSL State tournament Class 6 quarterfinals to beat the defending 2018 VHSL State Champions. What a thrill! As a freshman, I scored 6 goals with 3 assists for my varsity soccer team that went 13-1-1.
My experiences include playing for Richmond United ECNL club; selection to ODP Region 1 and ODP State (VA) with competition and training in Germany as well as France with the Richmond Strikers. I always look to move the ball forward offensively and believe I excel in passing and one touch situations. I've been told that I have a smoothness with my athletic ability and glide past defenders with the ball. I've also been described as crafty and deceptively quick with the ball at my feet. One of my most memorable soccer moments was when the coach of the French tournament champion allowed two team players to trade jerseys with an American teammate and myself because he respected our play and competitiveness. We had played their team to a tie earlier in the French tournament.
Additionally, I also played varsity basketball as a freshman and sophomore, making it to state quarterfinals both seasons and to semi-finals as a sophomore.
