Calla Parvin '23 Recruiting Profile

I have had a ball at my feet since I was three years old. Through soccer, I have learned the importance of work ethic, commitment, and leadership, as well as how to implement these in every aspect of my life. I am very competitive and thrive on challenges. Every day I push myself not only to be the best player I can be, but the best person I can be. I was selected to be a Peer Counselor for Norfolk Academy because I am trustworthy, empathetic, optimistic, and connect well with others. As a Peer Counselor, I provide guidance to my fellow students as needed. I love helping and motivating others, and many of my friends, teammates, and peers come to me when they need help with schoolwork or a personal issue. I am looking for a school that will challenge me not only athletically, but also academically. I want to make an impact on my college community, both on the soccer field and the campus.
