Ally (Kay) Ferguson '22 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember I have loved being in the water.  I began my swimming career around 9 years old through the local pool taking lessons. From there I persisted until I made the Northern Lights Swim Club team (NLSC). I further committed by adding personal training through Peak Performance that focused on making me a stronger swimmer. It has been my goal since age 10 to swim in college. 

I have swam with NLSC for the last ~7 years and for the last 4 years I swam on my high school varsity team, Palmer High School in Palmer, Alaska. This last year I was captain of the team which helped me fine tune my leadership skills in swimming. 

Outside of the pool I am very involved with my school and community, participating in many extracurricular activities; including choir, art and student government.

I hope to attend a college that will not only allow me to succeed in the pool, but help me grow outside of the pool.
