Amy Madsen '22 Recruiting Profile

One of my biggest aspirations is to swim for or join the triathlon team of a prestigious college. I hold myself to high standards and ensure to commit myself to the pursuit of my goals. I strive to improve and demonstrate my endurance for others to follow. What others might call "setbacks," I see as an opportunity to learn and move forward. Though swimming might be labeled as an individual sport, I value the connection between my teammates and coaches and understand that on a team you must support and train together as a whole. The positive energy I bring to my team at practice and my schoolmates at class is single-handedly responsible for my success in and out of the pool. I am looking forward to bringing that energy into my college years.
