Personal Statement

I love swimming, working with coaches, and being a supportive member of a team.  My favorite events are 100, 200 Breaststroke and the 200 IM, but I will swim anything!  I hope to earn a degree in Nursing specializing in Midwifery.  My faith is very important to me as well as family.  I look forward to meeting with you.

  • This was the first away meet of the season for us and was not a "taper" meet. I swam the 500 free, 400 IM, 200 IM, 200 Breast, 100 Fly, 100 Breast, 200 Free, and 50 free. I dropped time in the 100 breast (2:26.40), 200 IM 2:13.94, and 100 Breast 1:06.13

  • At this meet I swam 7 individual events and 4 relays. Individual Events were; 200 Free (swam 2:17.61 and placed 15th), 100 Breast (Swam 1:16.55 and placed 4th), 200 Fly (Swam 2:37.74 and placed 10th), 200 Breast (swam 2L47.15 and placed 3rd), 400 IM (swam 5:26.07 and placed 6th), 800 Free (swam 9:57.78 and placed 7th), 200 IM (swam 2:31.99 and placed 6th), and 400 Free (swam 4:47.94 and placed 7th). Relays were: 400 Medley (team placed 2nd), 200 free (team placed 7th), 200 Medley (placed 4th), 400 Free (placed 7th). I scored a total of 88 points for my team and was the 4th highest point earner in the open division.

  • At this meet I competed in the 400 IM, 200 Free, 100 Breast, 200 Breast, 500 Free, 200 IM, 200 Fly and the 200 Medley Relay. I qualified for finals (top 16) in all but the 200 free, made top 8 in the 400 IM. I droped time in the 400 IM (4:41.45)and 200 IM (2:13.99)

  • At this meet I dropped time in the 100 breast (1:07/27), the 200 IM (2:14.50), the 200 breast (2:27.65), and the 1650 (18:19.13) I made it back for finals in the 100 and 200 breast.

  • This meet ended up to be a bit odd. Friday session was canceled and integrated into Saturday and Sunday sessions due to dangerously high chlorine in the water and air. Also, I was sick...... I swam in the following events and received the following times: 500 free - 5:21.24, 200 IM - 2:15.10, 100 Fly - 1:01.49, 100 Free - 56.74, 200 Back - 2:18.86, 200 Free - 2:01.35, 100 Back - ,1:08.33 100 Breast - 1:08.33, 1000 Free - 10:56.96,

  • This was a huge meet with 26 teams from IN, IL, KY, OH, MI, and AR. This meet was held in SCY. I swam eight events and dropped time in all but the 100 Breast. Here are the events I swam, my times and time drops: 400 IM - 4:44.75 (Dropped 1.00), 500 Free - 5:19.27 (Dropped 4.23), 200 IM 2:15.36 (Dropped 1.23), 200 Fly - 2:17.14 (Dropped 1.23), 100 Breast - 1:08.99, 200 Free - 1:59.85 (Dropped 1.94), 100 Fly - 1:00.84 (Dropped 3.15), 200 Breast - 2:29.45 (Dropped 1.08)

  • This meet was held in SCY. At this meet I swam the following races: 400 IM-4:45.47, 500 Free-5:24.39, 100 Breast-1:09.64, 50 Free-36.38, 200 Free-2:01.79, 200 Breast-2:32.32, 100 Free-56.45, and the 200 IM-2:17.18. I was also in the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Free Relay, both which placed first.
