I was accepted to be on Team Kentucky for Zones in 2014 as a 14 year old. I was able to compete against some of the best swimmers from about 8 states and 14 teams. The experience was incredible and I loved every part of it and being able to be part of such an elite team.

This was a very intense camp where I was able to train along side the University of Louisville swim team. I was able to do their sets and work with their coaches on different ways to help me get better. I loved this camp and it gave me a great opportunity!

Louisville Stroke and Turn Camp

I went to a camp at the University of Louisville where I was able to work with some of the college coaches and swimmers to make my stroke and turns better. I really noticed a difference on my turns in such a short period of time and this camp really helped improve my swimming.

2014 NC ESSZ SPEEDO Championships

I was able to go to Sectionals when I was 14. I was only able to compete in two events and just by being at the meet made me want to work harder so I could get more cuts and come back to be able to swim in more events!

2012 Southeastern Zone championships
7/30/12 to 8/05/12
When I was 12 I was chosen to be on Team Kentucky for the 2012 Southeastern Zone Championship meet. Being so young and able to be part of such an amazing and fast meet really helped me want to try harder in practice to be able to go to more big meets such as this one. I was the only female from Kentucky in my age division to make it to the finals and was top 8 in both the 50 and 100 Backstroke.
