My goal in college is to continue to grow as a athlete and a person. I did not start swimming club til I was in sixth grade. Because of my late start I still have a fiery passion for swimming and a lot of room to grow. The best thing I can bring to any team is my passion and willingness to work. I try to get excited for all races and practices no matter how big or small and have been told by past coaches that: I have the same excitement about relays that nine year olds do. Beyond swimming, my physical health is super important to me, and I try to challenge my body in and out of the water. To me there is nothing better then getting kicked around by a workout since I know I am becoming stronger. The team aspect of swimming is one of my favorite parts of the sport. I grew up playing every team sport in the book... even football so I try my best to give back to my teammates by encouraging them the same way I would if we were on the field. Academically I am looking to go into a STEM based field and plan on majoring in Engineering.
