Anyka Busby '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anyka Busby and I am currently a Junior at Bayonne High School in New Jersey. I started swimming at age 4 but stopped to focus on my academics. In freshman year I started swimming again competitively on the Varsity Swim team at my high school. I am a certified shallow water lifeguard and worked as a lifeguard for the summer.  I would be a great candidate for the swim team because I am a dedicated and hardworking individual. I am a team player and I support my friends and family in doing what they love.  I enjoy and love to learn new techniques when swimming. I am pursuing Honors level in Algebra 2, World History, and Spanish.  My main aim is to succeed in everything and to have a very positive attitude. My goals are to swim competitively in college and to pursue a career in law.
