Abigail Hartwig '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since since I was 2 years old. I began competing in 5th grade and even since then my goal has been to swim in college!

My passion for swimming has made me into a very efficient student. I am a hard worker both in and out of the pool and I have excellent homework and study habits that will help me succeed academically in college.  I am interested in majoring in psychology. 

I am proud to have received several honors over my high school swimming career. I am team Captain this year. Last year, I was selected to the Essex County All-Conference First Team in both the 200 Free Relay and the 400 Free Relay (1st place winner at Counties in the 200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relay with Meet of Champions qualifying times), and All-Conference Second Team for the 100 Free. I am a 4-year Varsity letterman and previously received Coach's Award, Rookie of the Year Award, and 2 Varsity pins. I am excited about helping my college team to score points and win meets!
