Personal Statement
I have been in and around the pool since I was a year old. I started swimming for a summer team when I was 4 years old, and since the first time I dove in the water I have been in love with the sport ever since. Now, I swim for Greater Philadelphia Aquatic club all year round, Clearview Girls high school team, and also Wenonah Swim Club in the summer. This team atmosphere has helped shaped me into the person I am today. I was recently awarded MVP of my high school's swim team as a freshmen, and have also won MVP the past 4 years at my summer club. All of my memories growing up in the summer, or during the school year are filled with having fun with my friends at practice, training hard, and competing at meets. The hardwork and perservance that I put into this sport are powered by my dreams of swimming in college. In the pool I train and compete to the best of my ability almost every day. I am a very competitve swimmer and believe that I have the perserverance, and times to succeed. I am very coachable and strive to be hardest working and best girl on the team.
In the classroom, I have very similar morals. I work very hard to achieve and maintain all a's and b's. I also participate in my high schools Deca club. Deca has helped me find my passion for buisness. My main goal is to attend a college that is going to push me not only in the classroom but the pool as well. I am open to all options but am hoping to find the right college match for me at the highest level of swimming.
