In the past years, going through different levels of swimming including high school, I have really enjoyed the competitiveness of racing, but as the same time- the camaraderie of being apart of a team and working towards one common goal. Aside from spending time at practice, I devote 30+ hours a month volunteering as an EMT at our local rescue squad. This includes working as a team in stressful situations, doing events for the community and extra training. I have really enjoyed this in the past months and would love to continue in the medical field in college. I think I would be a good candidate for a team in college because I am very team-oriented and hardworking both in and out of the water.
