2019 HighlightsMy name is Meeya Yan. I am a Breaststroker. My best events are the 100 and 200 yards Breaststroke. Swimming is my passion and I have been in the water since I was 3 years old. My hope and dream is one day to be swimming for a Division I Collegiate Team. Having the chance to swim in a highly competitive sport will just make a stronger person in the future.. I am a student at Fontbonne Hall Academy in Brooklyn, NY with a 93.8% GPA.
I would like to become a Teacher and Swimming Coach when I graduate from college so I can be a positive impact/role model to the next generation of kids and give back to my community.
I know I will be a great asset to the team from my determination, hard work and positive team-first attitude that has been instilled in me from my parents and coaches.
