Emma Seibel '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma Seibel, I am a competitive swimmer of 12 years as of 2022. I am currently swimming for the Fox Valley YMCA Swim Team, along with the Appleton North High School varsity swim team. I started swimming at a young age and quickly excelled in the area. My best stroke has always been fly but has recently involved a little bit of long distance freestyle. Swimming has been a huge part of me getting to learn about myself; It has shown me things that I didn’t even think were possible until I met it. 

 I am a student first, before being an athlete. I have a 3.97 GPA which includes taking accelerated classes. I am driven to do my best in all areas of my life. Something else I am driven to do is be a good teammate, daughter, and friend. I love to encourage people and cheer them on because success is amazing for everyone. I always strive to improve myself in multiple areas of my life, along with being a positive, reliable person for people to look up to and confide in. Overall, I am one to look for the best in myself and in other people, and wherever I end up, I want to keep that going.
